Privacy Policy
Who We Are
Yhogg is a hyperlocal advertising network based in Madrid, Spain. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hi@yhogg.com.
What Data We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide our service. For businesses: your business name, email address, phone number, business logo, postal address, and any message you send via the contact form. For hoggers: your name, email address, phone number, home address (used to determine service-area eligibility and ship your backpack, and kept on your account so you can update it), an optional IBAN for paying out your earnings, and the city and neighbourhood where you walk. For authenticated users: your email address and account role. For hoggers during active sessions: GPS location data to verify routes and calculate earnings. Location tracking is always opt-in and can be stopped at any time. We may also give a business a private link that signs it in to its own client area (dashboard, campaigns and proof-of-walk reports) without a password; this link contains a unique access key, grants access to that business's own account only, and should not be shared.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, and a language-preference cookie so the site displays in the right language. The language cookie may be set automatically based on your country (derived from your IP address, never stored) for first-time visitors, or by your own explicit language choice, which always takes priority. Both cookies are strictly necessary or functional and contain no personal information. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking.
Third Parties
We use Supabase (Frankfurt, EU) for database and authentication, Resend for transactional email, Cloudflare R2 (EU) to store uploaded images such as business logos, and Upstash Redis (Frankfurt, EU) to rate-limit certain requests by IP address for abuse prevention. All are GDPR-compliant processors. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third party.
Your Rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hi@yhogg.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.
